Who Else Wants to Sponsor Their Sports Or Community Club With a Health Drink?

In this economic meltdown we have all just been through, conventional support for charitable and community projects have proven to be very difficult. However, two of the fastest growing trends in creating wealth happen to be wellness products and relationship (network) marketing, and it is a combination of these two areas that is actually providing a superb platform to create quite substantial levels of financial support.

To many people, the thought of paying out for the best in a wellness product when times are hard may seem an anathema, but believe me, where people are looking for better sleep, less aches and pains (both due to sports or age related issues), more resilience to inflammation related illnesses, and a more all-round feeling of health and wellbeing, well - they only have one life, and that to millions, is paramount.

To prove a point, have a look at this quote from Paul Zane Pilzer... Paul Zane Pilzer is a world-renowned economist, a multimillionaire software entrepreneur, and he has quoted that ten million new millionaires will be created between 2006-2016, and his book (published in 2006) The Next Millionaires explains how you can become one of them--especially if you are in direct selling, technology, home-based business, product distribution, or an emerging trillion-dollar industry like wellness. OK - so how can this be of benefit to your charitable or community organisation?

Well, first of all, if we can come up with a health drink that is actually jam-packed full of antioxidants, glucosamine and esterified fatty acids (one that tackles inflammation and the other lubricates those over-worked joints) then here is a product that most people in the world would want to consume on a regular basis This is especially so in our current day and age of fast (mainly junk) food, and a total disregard by millions of the importance of regular daily consumption of at least 5 portions of fruit and vegetables. Now given that we can find a product that tastes delicious, and just 4 ounces per day gives the antioxidant value of 13 fresh fruits and vegetables, you can see the power here, especially for members of health and fitness clubs.

So - we have identified a wellness product - a health drink - that can live up to these expectations - this is the first criteria. But how is this going to benefit your organisation? Well, for that now let's look at the second criteria - relationship or network marketing. But before you run away mumbling something like 'That's a Pyramid, its illegal, it will never work... etc etc', just remember that relationship marketing is NOT illegal, and if you go back to the paragraph above where we quote Paul Pilzer as saying this is an area of tremendous growth over the next 10 years, you can see that this is really worthy of more serious investigation in terms of generating a residual income for your organisation. With relationship marketing, the way a product or service is promoted, is not like 'conventional' selling, with the usual plethora of massive advertising campaigns, store-rooms full of stock, and highly paid salesmen.

As the name implies, with relationship marketing, the product or service is not 'sold' - it is recommended to others by people who have experienced it first-hand. A health drink, especially a world-renowned variety, will be distributed by people coming, in the main, to small, informal tasting parties. At these parties, experiences are shared between those users present with the new prospects. Now, people who get 'jacked up on the juice' and want to get regular supplies, can sign up as a distributor, and get their supplies at wholesale, not retail, so they immediately save around 15% of their costs. For many people, that will be all they ever want to do. But here's the clever thing. If these new users then invite their friends to the next tasting party, based on their own personal enthusiasm, then guess what? If their friends get all fired up, and want the juice, they sign up as distributors under their friends. This now means that the original people in the team are now getting a commission on the juice their friends consume, and very soon, they will find that not only are they getting their juice for free, but they are starting to make a little money.

Nothing difficult in that is there? And nothing illegal either! In over 10 countries across the world, people are making genuine 4, 5, 6 even 7 figure incomes in this fashion, and guess what? The product we have in mind will not be launched in the UK until later this summer! So, putting this all together, how will this benefit your organisation? Well, as long as your organisation is an official company (i.e. they have a unique tax ID), your company can be signed in as a distributor. If this is not the case, a member of your committee will have to sign up, and have an agreement in place on how the income will be distributed.

Then, make sure you get a decent supply of marketing material from the person who sponsored you, and see If you can get them to either attend your first few Tasting Parties, or persuade them to give you some stock for your own Tasting Parties. Make sure you also get sign-up forms, and before you know where you are, not only will you have built up a healthier, happier bunch of members, but your cause will have an ever-growing residual income stream on its way to your bank. As long as you select the right product, with the right management behind them, and preferably a good 'cause' behind them already, a powerful compensation plan, and of course a good person who sponsored you, the financial future of your organisation will start looking a lot brighter.

Are Physician's Relationships To Pharmaceutical Companies Unhealthy For Their Patients? (Part One)

The New England Journal of Medicine reports that 94% of all physicians receive some sort of compensation from drug companies. These incentives may be in the form of food and beverages in the workplace, free drug samples, reimbursements for professional meetings or their continuing medical education, and direct payments for consulting, speaking, or enrolling patients in trials or studies.

Such gifts and payments have a direct influence on the physician's ability to make sound medical decisions. The vast amount of amenities that the majority of physicians accept has made it difficult for them to any longer distinguish between legitimate sources of medical information from that which has been influenced by the pharmaceutical companies desire to market their products. This unfortunate situation has also blurred the lines between that which is actually educational, and that which is merely a marketing ploy.

Drug Companies Might Very Well Be Your Doctor's Only Source Of Education

It is quite likely that your doctor does not spend much time after hours going over reports and statistics on the latest drugs. It is more likely that the information he or she receives comes from drug representatives who are peddling their specific brands of medicines. According to a 2008 report, drug companies spend more than $50 billion dollars per year in promotions to help make sure that your doctor is actually listening to their high paid drug pushers.

Do These Doctor-Drug Company Relationships Effect Patient Health Care?

Although you would be hard put to find one doctor in a million who would admit that the many free gifts which they receive and enjoy from the pharmaceutical companies has any effect on what they prescribe to their patients, research has shown otherwise. These amenities in fact actually do influence prescribing practices. The nearly $20 billion dollars per year that the drug companies spend in building and maintaining relationships with physicians all over the country is proof enough that your physician's behavior is affected by these relationships, and these relationships do in fact increase sales or else the drug companies would not dish out that kind of money.

I believe that we place physicians on a great pedestal in this country and forget that they too are merely human beings who are just as capable of being influenced and persuaded by the love of money (greed), perks, and entitlements, as any other human being on the planet.

In this writer's opinion the question of whether or not a physician's financial relationship with a pharmaceutical company has any effect on the overall health care of a patient is really a no-brainer. It would actually be almost impossible to stay 100% committed to that which is actually best for the patient under a physician's care if the physician were promoting the drugs which paid for his or her new luxury automobile. This is quite obvious to me, but the question is, is it obvious to you? For your sake and the physical and financial well being of this great country I hope you will consider what is here written and start to make positive dietary and lifestyle changes in your daily walk and begin to rely less on your doctor who might very well rely too heavily on a big pharmaceutical company.

I am passionate about health issues, and the state of the health of our wonderful America. I believe the American diet is literally killing us and that a steady flow of money and perks from the meat, egg, and dairy industries to the U.S. government is the reason we have had a long sustained brainwashing campaign that has precipitated the shift from a predominantly plant-based diet to an animal-based diet. The result has been an unprecedented increase in heart disease, diabetes, stroke, and cancers of all varieties. I believe Americans are suffering from a lack of truthful information concerning our diets. I enjoy writing motivational articles that will help to correct the problem regarding this lack of information and also examine the prevailing misinformation in the light of truth.
